51m - Glenrothes - St Andrews - Glenrothes.
A beautiful day so a trip to St.Andrews was done. Headed out to Lundin links and then onto the A915 back road to St. Andrews but forgot that there was quite a hill to negotiate but the downhill parts made up for the effort going up. After reaching St. Andrews, I cycled along to the West Sands and relaxed for a bit. Phoned Dawn to let her know I was ok. Returned home along the A91 to Cupar but there was a nightmare of a head wind and was only travelling 7mph. Kept going and was so glad to eventually arrive back and collapse on the patio gasping for water. Was totally shattered.

This blog has been created so people can see my progress as I train for the Asthma UK Loch to Loch Cycle Challenge. On the 1st & 2nd of September 2012, I will be cycling 150 miles over 2 days on some of Scotland's most beautiful but hilly roads!
